Filtration & water treatment for Seawater Desalination
Seawater desalination turns seawater (about 35,000 mg/L TDS) into fresh water using seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) at 55–70 bar. Filtsap builds SWRO plants with multimedia or UF pre-treatment, cartridge filters, high-pressure pumps, FRP and duplex materials, and supplies membranes, vessels and spares.
Where we help
Pre-treatment
MMF or UF plus 5 µm cartridge filters in FRP or super-duplex housings.
SWRO
High-pressure pumps, 1000–1200 psi vessels and seawater membranes, with energy recovery.
Monitoring
Conductivity, ORP and pressure instruments to protect the membranes.
