Industrial Water Treatment Systems & Solutions
Filtsap's BUILD division designs and builds complete water treatment systems: membrane plants (industrial RO, BWRO, SWRO, UF, NF), purification systems (DM, softener, MMF, ACF, PSF), and wastewater and recovery plants (ETP, STP, MLD, ZLD, recycling and reuse). Each system is sized to your feed water analysis and the output quality you need.
Membrane-Based Treatment Systems
Membrane treatment systems push water through semi-permeable membranes to remove dissolved salts (RO), hardness and organics (NF), or suspended solids and bacteria (UF). Filtsap designs and builds skid-mounted plants for brackish water, seawater and process water, sized to your feed analysis and recovery target.
Water Treatment & Purification Systems
Water treatment and purification systems prepare raw water for process, boiler or RO use. Pressure sand and multimedia filters remove turbidity, activated carbon filters remove chlorine and organics, softeners remove hardness, and DM plants remove all ions using ion-exchange resins.
Wastewater & Recovery Solutions
Wastewater and recovery solutions treat effluent and sewage to meet discharge norms or for reuse. ETPs and STPs treat industrial and domestic wastewater. MLD and ZLD systems recover most or all of the water with membranes and evaporators. Recycling plants turn treated wastewater into process or utility water.

FAQs
What information do you need to design an RO plant?
A raw water analysis (TDS, hardness, silica, iron and so on), the product water flow and quality you need, the operating hours, and the site conditions.
RO or NF — which do I need?
Use RO when you need TDS close to zero. NF costs less to run when you mainly need to remove hardness, colour or organics.
Do I need a softener before RO?
Often yes, when the feed is hard and the plant runs at high recovery. A softener or an antiscalant prevents scaling on the membranes.
What is the difference between MLD and ZLD?
ZLD recovers all the water and leaves only solids, using evaporators and crystallisers. MLD recovers 90–95% with membranes, at much lower energy and capital cost.
